SSS Consultants was founded in the early eighties by two computer consultants:

Peter Warder gained his computing expertise as a senior lecturer in computing and quantitative methods at Middlesex University. These computer skills, allied to prior industrial experience, led to extensive computer consultancy work undertaken on behalf of the university. As this work increased, Peter left to work full time as an independent computer consultant.

David Hardill has many years experience of managing the design, development and implementation of large-scale interactive systems in commercial and financial environments. Prior to joining SSS, he held the post of Computer Development Manager at IPC Magazines Ltd.

The two met at IPC, where they were responsible for the development and implementation of core computer systems. After these had been successfully deployed, they moved on together to form SSS Consultants.

SSS has been joined by Keith Gaunt ex Director of Corporate Finance with Amalgamated Metal Corporation PLC ( an international trading, smelting, manufacturing and distribution group.) With this Group he additionally became Managing Director of Amalgamated Metal Trading Ltd. ( a Ring Dealing member of the LME with a turnover of circa $3billion per annum ) and Chairman of AMT Futures Ltd ( a Futures Broker and Fund Manager) Both these companies were regulated under The Financial Services Act.

He was an elected member of the Boards of The Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers (a Self Regultory Organisation) and The London Metal Exchange  where he  was also Chairman of the Warehouse Committee.

The partnership maintains a network of highly skilled self employed contractors and partnering links to specialist IT companies including a large offshore software development company, thereby covering the full spectrum of IT skills.

IT projects are implemented by drawing together the appropriate team of contractors/companies for the tasks involved.

Each contractor/company brings to SSS his own group of professional contacts and sub-contractors, enabling the business to offer a high quality 'one stop' computing service.
